« Luxury » gets thrown around in short-term rentals. For us it covers five precise dimensions: architecture, materials, equipment, location, service.
Architecture. The Le Littoral chalet was designed by Architecture49 and received two Platinum awards at the 14th Grands Prix du Design — Quebec and Canada's most prestigious design competition — in the *Residence/Cottage* and *Lodging* categories. L'Embâcle was designed by Bernard Serge Gagné (ABCP) as an ode to nordicity, two ice blocks abandoned in the clearing. Les Thermes extends that logic with a dedicated thermal zone conceived as a private spa.
Materials. Solid wood, polished concrete, full-height glazing, heated floors. Chef-grade kitchens with induction cooktops, convection ovens, espresso machine with grinder, raclette and fondue. High-end bedding (Le Germain Hotels mattresses at Les Thermes).
Equipment. Outdoor spa open year-round in all three chalets; heated pool in two; sauna in two; hammam and thermal zone at Les Thermes; wood fireplace in all three; EV chargers.
Location. Cap-à-l'Aigle, La Malbaie — historic resort district, cliffs, river view, 10 minutes from Mont Grand-Fonds.
Service. Direct booking with no intermediary, local concierge, 4 PM check-in, unique access codes per stay, security (detectors, cameras, pool fences).
