A heated outdoor pool turns a summer chalet into an early- and late-season chalet. The Charlevoix climate allows swimming from mid-May to mid-September when water is maintained at 28 to 30 °C — and we heat ours exactly to those standards.
Our two chalets with a heated outdoor pool are located in Cap-à-l'Aigle, La Malbaie. The Le Littoral chalet features a 2.75 m × 6.40 m × 1.2 m deep pool overlooking the St. Lawrence River. L'Embâcle offers a 3 m × 6 m × 1.2 m pool nestled in the clearing, sheltered from the wind. Both are fully fenced (120 cm fence) for children's safety.
Each pool comes with lounge chairs, pool towels and propane included for the adjacent BBQ. Les Thermes, on the other hand, has no outdoor pool but offers a full thermal zone (hammam, dry sauna, spa) that can serve as a year-round aquatic counterpart.
