Award-winning architecture

Le Littoral was designed by Architecture49 and received two Platinum awards at the Grands Prix du Design (14th edition), the most prestigious design competition in Quebec and Canada. This recognition highlights the excellence of its interior design and its integration into the landscape. Every detail was carefully considered: noble materials, bright volumes, and views of the river and forest. Staying at Le Littoral means enjoying a setting recognized by an independent panel of design professionals.

Accommodations and sleeping arrangements

Le Littoral comfortably accommodates up to 8 adults across four private bedrooms, each featuring a queen bed and en suite bathroom with Italian shower, toilet, and forest views. Children have their own dedicated space with 5 single capsule-style beds, adjacent to a bathroom with bathtub. A folding bed with comfortable mattress is also available for babies and toddlers.

Sauna, pool and spa

The solid wood sauna, accommodating up to 6 people, features an electric stone heater and offers a soothing view of the private forest.

The heated outdoor pool (2.75 m × 6.40 m × 1.2 m deep) overlooks the St. Lawrence River. Lounge chairs and pool towels are provided. Fully enclosed by a 120 cm high fence for children’s safety, it is open from May 15 to September 15.

The outdoor spa (hot tub), open year-round, accommodates 4 to 6 people with views of the private forest. Its cover is easy to open but locks for children’s safety.

Gourmet kitchen

The spacious kitchen is fully equipped for culinary enthusiasts: induction cooktop, blender, mixer, rice cooker, motorized toaster, panini press, waffle maker, fondue pot, raclette grill and much more.

Coffee lovers will delight in the espresso machine with grinder, French press and drip coffee maker. Tea enthusiasts are equally well served with a dual-tone kettle, multiple teapots and reusable tea bags. A fully stocked bar will please cocktail aficionados—feel free to ask us for our local gin recommendations.

Dining room and terrace

The open dining room features a large oak table seating 14 guests, with an abundance of plates, bowls, cutlery, water, wine, beer and champagne glasses, seafood tools and egg cups. Plastic versions are available for children, along with a high chair and a convertible toddler chair.

The expansive rooftop terrace offers spectacular views of the river and forest. It is equipped with a Weber gas BBQ and a large table, perfect for outdoor family meals.

Panoramic living room

The living room offers a stunning view of La Malbaie Bay. A wood-burning fireplace (firewood provided) creates a warm ambiance around the large, comfortable sectional sofa. Entertainment is provided by a 55-inch smart TV with guest mode and access to your usual streaming services, along with Wi-Fi stereo speakers.

The kids’ corner

The little ones have their own relaxation space with comfortable bean bags near the capsule beds, over 1,000 classic video games, board games and books. A 55-inch smart TV with guest mode and streaming access completes this dedicated space.

Comfort and amenities

Radiant floor heating and centralized ventilation ensure optimal comfort throughout the home, complemented by air conditioning and a fireplace on the main floor. Smart thermostats in each room allow individualized temperature control. Bed linens, bath, hand, face and pool towels, bathrobes and soaps are provided. Bedrooms feature blackout curtains for sleeping in.

An electric vehicle charger is available on the private parking. Wi-Fi internet, smart TVs, Wi-Fi speakers and home automation provide modern connectivity. USB outlets are installed in bedrooms and capsule beds.

Safety

Safety is a top priority at Le Littoral. The home is equipped with smoke, carbon monoxide and water leak detectors. Exterior cameras, motion detectors and interior door sensors provide surveillance. Fire extinguishers are available on every floor, along with a first aid kit. Doors use electronic keypad locks with unique codes for each reservation. The pool is surrounded by a tall fence and windows have limited opening. A child safety gate is installed at the top of the staircase.

House rules

Le Littoral is a peaceful haven in a very quiet neighborhood, surrounded by forest and other luxury tourist residences. No noise, parties or outdoor music is tolerated and no visitors are allowed. Maximum capacity is 8 adults; the 5 capsule beds are intended for children. Reservations are restricted to individuals 30 years of age and older, and ID may be requested. A $2,000 security deposit is required.

Pets are welcome and are held to the same standards as their owners. Please note that this is a luxury home with high-end equipment and furnishings—the house and grounds must be returned clean and damage-free. You are the best judge of your pet’s behavior. Check-in is from 4:00 PM and check-out is before 11:00 AM.
