A dedicated bathroom per bedroom is a luxury-hotel standard: no robe-clad walks down the hallway, full privacy for each couple, easier group departures in the morning. It is rare in chalet rentals, where the norm is still 1 or 2 shared bathrooms for 8 to 12 guests.
Our two chalets in Cap-à-l'Aigle, La Malbaie, are designed with one bathroom per adult bedroom:
- Le Littoral chalet — 4 queen bedrooms, each with an en-suite bathroom featuring Italian shower, vanity and toilet, with private forest views. A fifth bathroom dedicated to the kids' wing includes a bathtub. Total: 5 bathrooms for 14 guests.
- L'Embâcle — 1 king + 2 queen bedrooms, each with a private bathroom (Italian shower, vanity, toilet) opening onto the clearing. The family dorm has its own bathroom with bathtub and changing table. Total: 4 bathrooms for 12 guests.
Perfect for multi-generational groups and couples travelling together: no morning queue, no shared toiletries, each family stays in its own zone. It is also an underrated comfort when arriving late from the airport or leaving early for Mont-Tremblant or Tadoussac.
Materials: Italian walk-in showers, designer fixtures, heated floors in every bathroom. Bath, hand, face towels and bathrobes provided.
